Scott Parker could be on his was back to the Bridge as a replacement for the injured Michael Essien.
It is believed that Chelsea have made enquiries about Parker returning to Cheslea on a season long loan. With Ghananian Essien, out injured for six months the Blues need a ball winning midfield player and the man who was named player of the year by Football Writers’ Association could be the answer.
Ever since West Ham got relegated the England player has been linked with a move away from the Boleyn Ground. A loan move would leave Parker open to returning to the Hammers should the club return to the Premier League next season or stay at the Bridge if he impresses.
The player himself is expected to jump at the opportunity of returning to the club where he has unfinished business, plus he would have the chance of playing Champions League football.
