Chelsea set to miss Cole Palmer Malo Gusto and Ben Chilwell vs Arsenal

As per Chelsea Website, Chelsea are set to miss several key players due to injuries ahead of a crucial match against Arsenal on Tuesday night. The Blues were first hit with a big injury blow when the club confirmed that Cole Palmer would miss the game due to illness.

Another injury setback is that Malo Gusto has also been ruled out of the clash due to a ligament problem, and Ben Chiwell additionally suffered a fresh injury blow. Meanwhile, the only injury boost that has been confirmed is that Christopher Nkunku has participated in partial team training ahead of the game.

At this point, it’s not surprising because the Blues injuries have been worse this season, and the Argentine manager might have used to have limited options in the squad now.

Now they face a challenging task ahead of the Arsenal clash, and the Argentine manager will have to make a lot of adjustments in the game to put together a strong squad. Considering that the Blues don’t have enough games left now, each match will be valuable in deciding their European fate.

Pochettino’s main worry would be the absence of Palmer, who has made a huge difference since joining the club; he ticks all the boxes and scores goals. Now that he is likely to miss the match, the Argentine manager could play Noni Madudke on the right.

Raheem Sterling can also operate from the right, while Nkunku could come on as a substitute in the match. Pochettino will have to make wise decisions ahead of the game, as they cannot lose any more points.

Malo Gusto will miss the Arsenal clash due to a new injury.

Given that Gusto is also out of the game, Trevoh Chalobah or Axel Disasi will likely play right back. Playing Chalobah as a fullback will be a smart move because he is more energetic than Disasi, who doesn’t do enough to help during the attacks.
