Enzo Fernandez says he loves being at Chelsea

Enzo Fernandez makes his feelings clear on his stint at Chelsea and says he enjoys his time at the West Londoners and claims he loves being at the club following his British transfer record move to the West Londoners in January 2023.

Fernandez grew into a prominent midfielder during the FIFA World Cup 2022, as his exploits at the tournament helped his country win the competition, and he became one of the top midfielders.

With plenty of clubs vying for his services, the Blues were quick to move for the midfielder, making him one of the most expensive transfers in British history. The midfielder hasn’t had an easy ride at the team, though, as they go through a renovation process, since he signed.

Following Chelsea’s poor performance this season, the Argentine was linked with a move away, but he himself dashed those rumours and now comments on his time at the club and told Chelsea website:

‘Maybe personally I’m still not 100 percent and don’t feel like I’ve shown my potential, but beyond that, I love being at a club as big as Chelsea, enjoying the Premier League every weekend with the fans that are so passionate. I love being here.’’

Fernandez, who is 22 years old, showed his potential and what he can offer during the 2022 World Cup. The midfield player is aware that it will take some time for it to come to fruition. He has repeatedly stated as much, yet news reports will give the impression that he isn’t happy here and will eventually link him with the move away.

Chelsea midfielder Enzo Fernandez has scored three goals this season.

Because the midfielder is content where he is and is aware that Chelsea are among the best teams in Europe, his agent decided to refute any rumours. He is the kind of player that has every component of a great player; thus, he has the potential to be among the best players in Europe.

Naturally, his high price tag will keep him in the spotlight constantly and draw criticism for his poor performance. He has shown, however, that he has improved a lot since his move here and will continue to grow into a midfielder fans will start appreciating.
