According to Tuttomercatoweb (h/t Football.London), Chelsea winger Christian Pulisic, who is available for a transfer in the coming summer, is eyed up by two Serie A clubs AC Milan and Juventus.
The USA international, who is currently out injured since early January, is one of the first names on the selling list for Chelsea during the summer transfer window.
Football.London recently reported that while Pulisic is available to leave in the summer, Newcastle United and Manchester United wanted to sign him in January itself. But, the injury sustained early in the month against Manchester City, which has kept him out for weeks, failed the materialisation of the move.
Chelsea signed a host of forwards in the January window. If we look at where Pulisic plays (left-wing mostly), the new recruit Mykhailo Mudryk is likely to take that place and summer signing Raheem Sterling is there too.
The former Borussia Dortmund star has struggled to make a considerable impact since arriving at the club in the summer of 2019. Injuries and lack of consistency have hindered his progress at Stamford Bridge.
But, as we saw during the World Cup, the USA talisman has the quality to shine. He is still only 24, hence has the time to recuperate his career by moving to a different club in the summer.
It is a shame that things could not work out for him at Chelsea. Having seen him at Dortmund, it was clear that there is a star in the making. But, sometimes young players need time to settle down in such a big club like Chelsea.
He would be an ideal fit for any of the clubs linked with him. The quality on the ball and the willingness to work hard off it is there. Just needs a coach to get the best out of him by playing him regularly.
