Benoit Badiashile gives verdict on Mykhaylo Mudryk after training with him at Chelsea

Benoit Badiashile was full of praise after he trained with his new teammate, Mykhaylo Mudryk, at Chelsea and thinks the Blues have acquired another talented star.

The pair joined Chelsea during the January transfer window as the Blues sought to bolster their team as the number of injuries grew. While Mudryk joined the Blues for £88 million, Badiashile moved to Chelsea from Monaco for £35 million.

However, the 21-year-old has only played in two games for Chelsea; Badiashile started against Liverpool and laid a marker with his performance, while the Ukrainian came on as a substitute in Chelsea’s 0-0 draw with the Reds.

Mudryk showed great performance against Liverpool.

According to Badiashile, who spoke to Football Capital (via Express.UK), Mudryk’s training has impressed him, but he still has a ways to go because he is still young.

“He’s a terrific player, but only the future will tell us if he can turn into a big star.” But for sure, he has the talent to become just that. I am a new signee and still discovering, but you have to give your all to be a success here.” “I am very happy to be here; the level is elevated.”

Both are young, and Chelsea wants to strengthen their squad’s depth. Mudryk’s performance against Liverpool demonstrated that Chelsea had made an excellent player acquisition.

The 22-year-old caused misery for James Milner, who was unable to handle his speed and ended up being substituted. The former Shakhtar Donetsk player also came close to scoring his debut goal when he waddled past two Liverpool players but hit the side netting.

Badiashile will hope to get more game time.

The former Monaco player also got the opportunity to display his talents at the back. Given Kalidou Koulibaly’s poor form and Wesley Fofana’s long-term injury, fans can expect to see Badiashile a fair few times this season.

This is quite encouraging, given that the players are performing admirably. Graham Potter will hope to give Badiashile more playing time, and Mudryk could be required to start most games since Chelsea lack a left-winger.

Additionally, the players are getting along well with one another both on and off the field, and we hope they can help Chelsea reach its peak. They both are young and on a learning curve and the more playing time they get, the better they will be as time goes on.
