Chelsea are interested in signing Udinese keeper Juan Musso, according to Football.London.
Frank Lampard has lost faith in the underperforming Kepa Arrizabalaga. The Englishman has relegated the Spanish keeper to the bench and has continued to use Willy Caballero instead.
The reserve keeper is 38 years old and does not present a long-term solution. Lampard is looking for a new number one and Udinese’s Juan Musso one of the options being monitored.
The 25-year-old joined up with the Serie A side from Racing Club in 2018. He has since gone on to make 54 appearances for the Bianconeri. (h/t Whoscored)
The Argentine has established himself as a key player at Udinese and is a commanding presence in the penalty box. He is expected to cost Chelsea around £25million if the Blues make a move for him in the summer.
Muso is of Argentine and Italian descent. He has won a solitary international cap for Argentina against Morocco in 2019. He later replaced the injured Esteban Andrada in the Argentina squad for the 2019 Copa America.
