Mexican star Hirving Lozano is being linked with a move to Chelsea, according to the Mirror.
The 23-year-old PSV Eindhoven attacker is enjoying a fine season with 13 goals and seven assists in all competitions, and the report adds that Chelsea are ready to negotiate with the Dutch side.
The Blues have made a huge mark in the winter transfer window with the signing of Christian Pulisic but the American will join next season.
Chelsea are willing to part with £32million (h/t Mirror) for Lozano but not any more. The Mexican has been one of the best players coming from the Central American side in recent years and was great in the World Cup too.
The 23-year-old can play across the front line or in the midfield, and his versatility would be great for our manager to take advantage of.
The Blues could do with more threat in the final third as the goals aren’t coming in the Premier League. We are the lowest scorers in the top six and our reliance on Eden Hazard is a concern.
Olivier Giroud can’t seem to score regularly, while Alvaro Morata has nine goals to his name but hasn’t looked convincing leading the line.
Lozano could slot straight into our starting line-up, and it will be interesting to see if we push for the 23-year-old to join soon.
