Chelsea player Willian was heavily linked with a move to the Old Trafford since the Portuguese manager took over the reins from Louis Van Gaal, however, the rumour was put to an end after the Blues offered the player a new contract worth per week.
The player recently confirmed that Jose Mourinho was interested in signing him from the Stamford Bridge however he decided to stay as a Chelsea player rather than head out of the club.
“I have a great relationship with Jose, but I am [at] Chelsea. Of course, when someone like him is interested in you then you are happy.”-Willian
After the 2014-2015 season, many of the Blues’ players form dipped, which saw the team lose nine matches in 16 league matches of the campaign which further led to Chelsea dismissing Jose Mourinho as the manager of the team.
Willian, however, managed to keep his form intact through the season creating 81 chances for the Blues which is more than his teammates. Now the player is set to stay at the Stamford Bridge for the next season as well putting all the speculations to an end.
