Chelsea are reportedly looking out to sign Andre Gomes from Valencia this summer as incoming manager Antonio Conte prepares for his first season at the Stamford Bridge. The Blues have been linked with a number of players this summer, however they are yet to bring any player into the Stamford Bridge.
The Blues need to strengthen their midfield and Gomes is one of the top midfielders who is sure to boost Chelsea’s midfield. Although Chelsea may end up paying a lot of money to land the player as Valencia are reportedly demanding £42m for 22 year old’s transfer to the Blues this summer.
According to the reports from the Daily Mirror, Chelsea are considering the Portuguese midfielder after having failed to sign Roma’s Rajda Nainggolan. With the Blues taking time to weigh their options it will be interesting to see who will be the first player to join the Blues this summer.
