Chelsea has received a massive blow in their pursuit of N’Golo Kante. The midfielder has been a key player for Leicester this season and given that the club has won the Premier League, the player has gained attention from many bigger clubs at home as well as abroad.

While it was speculated earlier that the player may leave Leicester to enhance his career now the player has spoken in an interview that indicates that he is set to stay back at Leicester and not move elsewhere. He has expressed his interest to stay at King Power Stadium and win another title with Leicester.

Several Premier League big boys, including Chelsea were keen for his signature, but looks like all are set to miss out on this talented midfielder. Antonio Conte will be joining Chelsea in the summer and the Italian had shortlisted Kante as potential midfield reinforcement. The player said, “When I came here I can’t imagine winning the title. But as the season has gone on we feel and say, ‘Why not?’ Now we did it. We have just done it for this season, next season we will see.”
