So Chelsea has two new members in its squad. Alexandre Pato and Matt Miazga from Corinthians and New York Red Bulls respectively. As these two players begin to settle in, we did a little digging to find out what could be their new number at Stamford Bridge.

As per the Chelsea official website, the numbers they are going to wear are Pato 11 and Miazga 20.

It is a bit surprising that Pato will be wearing 11 as when he was in Europe he was wearing 7. Though given that in Brazil, he wore 11 it does make sense that he would choose between the two, with 11 being available. Worn by Duff, Drogba and Oscar earlier expectations will be high on Pato.

Miazga’s number 20 has been vacant for four years. Ever since Josh McEachran. It was worn by Deco and Ferreira before that.
