Atletico Madrid Offer World Beater To Chelsea In Exchange Of Pedro And Costa

A vibe around  the halls of Stmaford Bridge is that Chelsea may not have been very impressed with Pedro since his transfer from Barcelona in the summer transfer window. Now the Sun is reporting that Athletico may be happy to use Jackson Martinez as a bait to lure in former player Diego Costa to Spain once again.

The reporter of the article also wrote that Costa alone may not be a very lucrative exchange deal for the Athletico striker Jackson Martinez and Chelsea will have to throw in Pedro in the deal.

Martinez has made his name by scoring impressive 92 goals in 132 games for Porto before moving to Athletico Madrid. In spite of this Diego Simeone still remains a big fan of Diego Costa and apparently is willing to make the trade. Maybe this means Simeone will not be coming to Chelsea next season as many are expecting. A bummer for Chelsea fans but may be Guss Hiddink is going to be there longer than expected.
