The latest player linked with a move to the Premier League is Arda Turan. The Atletico Madrid star will be difficult to get considering the rise of his club. The Express have reported that Chelsea, Arsenal and Manchester United are fighting for his signature. However, it’s not only the fact that Turan won’t be easy to get, I don’t particularly want him at Chelsea. So here are three alternatives to the Turkish international.
1. Julian Draxler – The German international is a fantastic young player and actually one of the best youngsters in the world. If he continues on the right path then he can become one of the greats of the game. Something which Jose Mourinho could bring out of him. Despite lacking in the goal department, he has had a productive season. 10 assists is a very good tally. This is a player you splash the cash on for their potential, but also their current ability.
2. Marco Reus – The next player is Reus who has had another incredible season for Borussia Dortmund. 23 goals and 23 assists is an outstanding record. He’s quite a different player to Draxler as Reus is quick, very quick. He uses this to great effect as he simply glides past the straining legs of the opposition. He’s devastating when in form.
3. Stephan El Shaaraway – The AC Milan forward has been out injured for a large chunk of this season which has resulted in the spotlight moving away from him after his brilliant campaign the year before. If we take into account what we know he can do then El Shaarawy can become a great player for the Blues. Young, versatile and full of tricks.
