Chelsea vs Fulham: The Odds

Chelsea are 1.3 shots to beat Fulham in their Boxing Day clash at The Bridge, and if the stats are anything to go by then they really should take care of their neighbours and get back on the winning trail.
After looking back to their best, AVB’s men have stuttered in their last two games –  drawing 1-1 away at Wigan and then suffering a similar fate against Spurs at White Hart Lane.
Those results have put an end to any title hopes but a top four finish is firmly on the cards, and three points here will be a welcome tonic.
The Blues haven’t lost any of their last 11 matches against the Cottagers, who have managed just four goals on their travels this season and come into this on the back of a 5-0 tonking at home by Manchester united.
Martin Jol’s side have also failed to score in 11 away games, and simply don’t have enough backbone or fight to pose a threat to Chelsea.
It really should be a stroll in the park for Chelsea, and I think that they will win this to nil.
They are even money (2) to do so with bet365 and Paddy Power and that looks a fair price given Fulham’s goal scoring record.
I fancy Chelsea to win 2-0 or 3-0, and those scorelines can be backed at 6 with Boylesports and 8 with Paddy Power.
Split stakes on both looks the way to play for some handsome profit.
In the first goal scorer market I am going to take a chance on Frank Lampard who is set to return to the starting X1.
He is a standout 7 shot with bet365 and that looks a huge price given that he is as short as 5.5 in a place.
