Stefan Radu’s agent has hinted that the Romanian international could leave Lazio for Chelsea in January.
The Blues failed to sign left-back Alvaro Pereira from Porto during the summer and there are now reports in Italy that Andre Villas-Boas may turn his attention to the 24-year old Lazio player.
Victor Becali, Radu’s agent told Italian radio station Mana Mana: “If something interests us in the coming months then we will talk it over. Stefan has renewed his contract but in football you can never take anything as certain.
Before adding: “I have read that big clubs in England, Spain and France are interested but at the moment I have not spoken to anyone about it.”
Should the Blues make a move for the Romanian, they would acquire a quality, young centre back.
