Fernando Torres – on his way back …

Yes, Chelsea lost on Sunday and yes, Fernando missed a sitter, one that has been described as one of the worst of all-time BUT there were signs of a resurgence.

There is a lot of pressure on the man who cost the whopping £50m fee in January, nobody would disagree the return of two league goals in 24 outings is a good return but that could all change shortly.

It is not just the fee that causes pressure, but the fact that whoever he Blues play the Spaniard naturally receives abuse and banta from opposing fans.

During the game at Old Trafford, Torres started to show the reason Chelsea were willing to spent such a large fee for the ex-Liverpool striker. He showed his skills as he used he quick feet to create chances for himself and he scored the excellent taken goal immediately after half-time.

Whilst he would have spent much of the week reliving the pain of ‘that’ miss, we saw a lot of positives and hope to see him find the back of the net tomorrow against Swansea.
