Andre Villas-Boas has not given up on bring attacking midfield player Kevin De Bruyne to Stamford Bridge.
The Blues looked to follow-up their signing of Thibaut Courtois from Genk by bringing the talented young player to the club but the Belgian side decided not to sell.
De Bruyne was not happy that Chelsea’s offer had been rejected and he pleaded with his club to let him go, but no transfer was agreed and he stayed in Belgium.
The Blues are likely to make another move for him in January or at the end of the season, one positive is that he will get regular first-team experience.
