Modric off to South Africa …

The Blues are believed to have offered Spurs £27million bid for Modric, having seen the initial offer of £22million rejected last month.
As it stands both clubs have refused to confirm whether the bid has actually been placed, but it is becoming clear that the North London club are unhappy with Chelsea are chasing their talented Croatian who is into the second year of his six-year contract.
Since being linked with a move to Stamford Bridge, Modric has made it clear that he wants to move to
Chelsea, stating the it would be a ‘dream’ for him to join up with Andre and his team.
Despite all the speculation, Modric’s representative Nikki Arthur Vuksan confirmed the creative midfielder will be on the plane to South Africa with his current squad, where they will face Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates.
