F1 racer Lando Norris calls Chelsea star Levi Colwill jokingly ‘grandma’ and ‘loser’ for his driving skills

F1 racer Lando Norris jokingly called Chelsea player Levi Colwill ‘grandma’ and ‘loser’ for his driving skills after the Blues players joined the F1 racer in the simulator. McLaren F1 driver Norris was with Chelsea players Colwill and Roberto Sanchez at the McLaren Technology Centre, where both players showed their driving skills.

The Premier League YouTube channel posted a video of both Chelsea players, who had fun driving the F1 simulator and also tested their skills to see who was the best eSports driver. However, Colwill seems to have not understood after Norriss saw his hand placement on the steering wheel and called him a “grandma” while playing on the simulator.

Colwill further made jokes on himself after he revealed he hasn’t passed a driving test with a manual car, only an automatic one, with Norris labelling him a “loser” as a result.

While they all had fun with each other, Chelsea players will not prepare for a big clash against Manchester City in the FA Cup semi-final on Saturday at Wembley. Meanwhile, Colwill, who hasn’t participated in past games after a toe injury, will hope to return as soon as possible as we head into the crucial matches of the season.

Colwill’s introduction to the team has boosted the backline; this season, the defender has been utilised extensively as a left-back and has performed admirably there in the absence of Ben Chilwell and Marc Cucurella.

Let’s hope he’ll also learn how to drive a manual so that the next time he goes out with an F1 driver, he can demonstrate his driving prowess. But it seems logical that he doesn’t drive a manual automobile given his young age.

More Chelsea news

Colwill will interpret it as a jest because so many other athletes socialise with athletes from different sports. Colwill hasn’t been seen since February as he recovers from a toe injury. He has played in 23 Premier League games as a centre defender and fullback so far this season.
