Enzo Fernandez lauds Chelsea motivation amid the uncertainty

Enzo Fernandez’s recent exclusive interview with the Chelsea official website indicates how the club is fighting together and how their spirits and motivation have been enhanced by the arrival of Mauricio Pochettino.

There were concerns about who would manage this disorganized team and how fast the club’s supporters could turn around. Pochettino was entrusted to turn around the team’s fortunes and mow fast forward to the present state of affairs. Although Pochettino has not yet won over the supporters, our performance this season has much improved over last year as he continues to navigate the team to the right path.

Fernandez was signed for a record-breaking fee in the January transfer window; his massive price tag was always going to keep him in the headlines regardless of his performance. His signing was met with big hype and the midfielder hasn’t taken much time to settle in the league despite the Blues enduring one of the worst spells last season.

The Argentine player has honed his performance and scored seven goals this campaign across all competitions. The Pochettino appointment has also aided other young players in developing their game, and the midfielder reveals how the players have been pushing each other for more. Speaking to the Chelsea website, he commented:

‘’I wanted to take the chance to come and fulfil my dream of playing in the Premier League for a big institution like Chelsea. We are a young team and a very united team, despite the difficulty. Supporting each other is always inspiring for more.’’

Amid the chaos, we thrive.

The changes in our performance have been evident; it’s just that the problem has been that we haven’t been consistent, and if we adapt to that consistency, we are certainly going to be title challengers soon if we make improvements in certain areas. Pochettino has helped the squad in many ways and has assembled a team brimming with so much potential.

Enzo Fernandez has seven goals this season in all competitions.

With the exception of a poor showing in the Premier League, this campaign has been satisfactory, taking the team to both the Carabao Cup final and the FA Cup semi-final. Furthermore, we have a good opportunity to earn a European position because we are only eight points adrift from Manchester United in sixth place.

Everything hinges on how we play, and as Fernandez put it if we keep working hard, encouraging one another, and staying together on the pitch, we will undoubtedly succeed. And if we make smart additions to the team in the summer, then we will be competing for the Premier League.
