Mohamed Salah and Darwin Nunez could be available to face Chelsea in final

According to Liverpool Echo, Liverpool attacking duo Mohamed Salah and Darwin Nunez were seen training at the AXA Training Centre as the Reds prepare to face Chelsea in the Carabao Cup final in Wembley on Sunday.

Salah and Nunez missed Liverpool’s 4-1 hammering of Luton Town and are said to be doubtful to face the West Londoners. But despite their unavailability, their attacking stars were pictured during training ahead of the final.

Nonetheless, the Blues should be prepared to face them, as Liverpool have been emphatic despite their mounting injuries and will be more dangerous. Their 4-1 hammering of Luton Town and Brentford respectively is an indication of how well they have been performing in the absence of their star players.

But the addition of Salah and Nunez will add more potency to their attack, as we saw the Egyptian forward make an instant impact with a goal and an assist against Brentford.

The Blues also have their own injury woes, but it has been since the start of the season, and Mauricio Pochettino seems to be used to not having his full-fledged squad.

Our young squad is ready to deal with Salah and Nunez.

Nunez’s nine goals in the league this season show he has been terrific for them, while Salah is competing with Erling Haaland for the Premier League Golden Boot. If they are available for the game, then we will have to do our best to nullify them.

Darwin Nunez could be available to face Chelsea in Carabao Cup final.

Our young squad seems to have adapted well to pressure; they are showing discipline in matches, and there have been fewer individual mistakes, which is one of the biggest improvements because the Liverpool press will force us to make mistakes, which we will have to avoid.

Pochettino will have to set up the starting XI in a more balanced way. The most important thing is that our midfield needs to be functioning because, in our 4-1 defeat to Liverpool, our midfield was nonexistent, which allowed the Reds to overpower us in the middle of the pitch.
