Thiago Silva wife Belle Silva asks for change in Chelsea’s managerial position

Chelsea’s 4-2 defeat to Wolves seems to have been the last straw for many fans and players’ families. Thiago Silva, who scored the second goal for the Blues, saw his wife call for the sacking of Mauricio Pochettino.

The Argentine manager saw his side embarrassingly fall 4-2 to Wolves after a 4-1 loss to Liverpool midweek. This has raised alarms about the Argentine management and how the players failed to bounce back.

After winning three straight Premier League games and making it to the Carabao Cup final, the Blues were making brilliant strides, but two devastating losses in succession put a dent to their terrific form.

After the defeat the players and manager were met with loud jeers from the fans and Thiago Silva’s wife, Belle, took a jibe at Pochettino and called for his sacking, (h/t Sun) she took to X and tweeted:

“It’s time to change. If you wait any longer, it will be too late.”

Is Pochettino the problem?

We dismissed three managers last season, and if you continue firing managers, things will become ugly because the squad building is the real issue here, not the coach. When a manager is appointed, you should follow his recommendations and bring in players that fit his profile, which Chelsea have not, and half of these young players haven’t yet adapted to Pochettino’s methods.

We’ll wait until the conclusion of the season to see how Pochettino and the board work out before deciding to keep him on or hire a new coach who can figure out whose style will work best for this team.

We are currently in disarray as two humiliating losses have demonstrated that this team will not win matches frequently and will experience disappointment. It is undeniable that the players are not being utilised to their full potential in their actual roles and maybe we should bring in players who suit Pochettino’s style.
