Carlo Ancelotti feels Chelsea could turn their season around if they defeat Real Madrid

Real Madrid have been forewarned by Carlo Ancelotti, who asserts that if Chelsea defeat the,, it will be a fantastic opportunity for the Blues to get out of this predicament of this season.

The Blues are having one of their worst seasons and are in the bottom half of the Premier League table after losing their three matches under temporary manager Frank Lampard.

After a succession of disappointing performances, they now take on Real Madrid in the second leg of the Champions League with a mountain to overcome.

They must first offer Stamford Bridge another unforgettable European night if they want to overcome the first-leg deficit and defeat the holders. A two goal lead is never easy to overcome in Europe, let alone against Los Blancos.

The former Chelsea manager believes the match against Real Madrid will present the best chance to turn things around for the Londoners. Speaking during a news conference, (h/t Daily Mail), Ancelotti admonished his team to play with all of their energy.

”Chelsea has a difficult moment. I’m thinking the game tomorrow can be a great opportunity for them to move on from this situation. We’re aware of this, and we take it into consideration. We will try to play at our best.”

Ancelotti is familiar with Chelsea because he previously managed the team and guided them to a league and FA Cup double in 2010. He is aware that the team is in a state of uncertainty and disarray, but things could change in the match against Real Madrid.

Despite having a dismal Premier League season, we have produced multiple comebacks in the Champions League. For example, in the 2014 Champions League quarterfinal against Paris Saint-Germain, we overcame a 3-1 deficit by scoring twice at Stamford Bridge.

More Chelsea News:

We weren’t all that poor against Real Madrid; it was simply that we missed our chances in the first leg, but if we remain more clinical this time then anything can happen.
