He has conveyed his regret about the mistake and looks set to be on the way to getting reintegrated into the team.

Lukaku was omitted from the matchday squad that faced Liverpool in the 2-2 draw in the Premier League following his comments with Sky Italia. Tuchel is assessing his options following a productive meeting with the striker on the controversy that he created.

The Belgian was involved in a training session on Monday, which took place before the meeting with the German boss.
