Transfer News: Chelsea prepare a five-man shortlist for summer

According to transfer news from Daily Star, Chelsea are all set to go after five transfers in the summer. Thomas Tuchel is keen to build on the Champions League win and wants to add a few new names to the side over the summer.

Chelsea ended a nine-year wait for the Champions League when Kai Havertz rounded Ederson to score Chelsea’s only goal of the night. While celebrations still continue, Thomas Tuchel will know that he cannot rest on his laurels. Work will have to start for next season as he looks to build on what he has accomplished so far.

This will be the first time Thomas Tuchel gets to decide on the transfers as well as get a pre-season. Now, it has been reported that Chelsea are keen to bring in some fresh faces and have five names in mind for the same.

With Chelsea’s goalscoring woes, it is no surprise to see them being linked to two prolific strikers in Harry Kane and Romelu Lukaku. As for the midfield, Chelsea are looking at AS Monaco starlet Aurelier Tchouameni to strengthen that area.

Chelsea are also interested in bringing a new winger and the names of Adama Traore and Jonas Hofmann have been mentioned. The Blues are also looking to free up some space in the side. It has been said that Tuchel will be handed £200m to bolster the side over the summer.
