According to transfer news from Mirror, Chelsea are set to face competition from Leeds United for Adama Traore. Both managers want the player with Thomas Tuchel seeing him as a good fit for his tactical system.
The 25-year-old Wolves man is a quick and strong winger who can leave the best of defenders lying in his wake. He has made a name for himself at the Molineux after failed stints at previous clubs such as Middlesbrough.
While he may not have had his best season for the side in the one that went by, he is still one of the more effective wingers in the league. There was also the injury to Raul Jimenez, with who he had formed a dangerous partnership. His absence had also likely affected his tally in front of goal.
While Chelsea have been linked with a move for the Spaniard over the last month or so, they will now face competition from Leeds United. The Whites are now said to be after the winger as manager Marcelo Bielsa wants him on his side. The club are prepared to break their transfer record in order to get him.
Thomas Tuchel is one who wants Traore for his 3-4-2-1 setup. He felt that the winger could be used in the wing-back role, However, Chelsea cannot afford to sit on their interest and they will need to act fast. Leeds are known to make astute signings and Traore could be one.
