Chelsea willing to offer Tammy Abraham, Kepa Arrizabalaga in Harry Kane deal

According to ESPN, Chelsea are intent on signing Harry Kane in the summer and are willing to offer Tammy Abraham and Kepa Arrizabalaga as part of the deal to sign the Tottenham Hotspur striker.

Harry Kane, widely regarded as one of the best strikers on the planet, is set to leave boyhood club Tottenham in pursuit of trophies. Chelsea, along with Manchester City and Manchester United have emerged as potential destinations for the 27-year-old England captain.

A transfer, though, will not be easy to work out as Kane still has three years left on his contract and is valued at £150m by Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy. Things would be further complicated for Chelsea given the fractious relationship between the two clubs ever since the Luka Modric transfer saga about a decade ago.

However, Chelsea are hoping to convince Tottenham to do business with them by offering two players plus cash to sign Kane. The two players in question are said to be Tammy Abraham and Kepa Arrizabalaga.

Abraham has lost his place under Thomas Tuchel and is set for an exit. Valued at £40m by Chelsea, the 23-year-old would slot in as a like-for-like replacement at Tottenham.

Kepa, meanwhile, has fallen behind summer signing Edouard Mendy in the pecking order at Chelsea, despite having shown signs of resurgence since Tuchel took over. The world’s most expensive goalkeeper could help Spurs replace captain Hugo Lloris in the long-run.

It has also been mooted that Callum Hudson-Odoi could also be used as a potential makeweight to sweeten the pot for Tottenham.

More Chelsea News:

Irrespective of the package being put together, things will be difficult for Chelsea given the history between the two clubs. So, a move for Kane, as appealing as it sounds, is unlikely to come to fruition.
