According to Football.london, Chelsea could be set to welcome back two injured stars for the trip to Fulham.
The trio of Reece James, Andreas Christensen, and N’Golo Kante all missed the 4-0 win against Morecambe in the FA Cup on Sunday night.
While it is debatable if they would have started in the first place, their availability would have given Frank Lampard more options.
With the Blues set to return to Premier League action on Saturday. Two of the three could be in contention as the Bleus prepare to face off against Fulham.
Managed by former Chelsea midfielder Scott Parker, Fulham are a side who can be dangerous on their day. The Blues, meanwhile, cannot afford to drop any more points.
Already in training ahead of the game against Morecambe, James could make the squad for Fulham provided his recovery goes as expected. The same can be said of Christensen, who returned to training last weekend.
Kante, however, is still injured and it is not known exactly when he will return to action. The Frenchman is suffering from a hamstring injury but thankfully, it is not expected to keep him out for long.
With the likes of Billy Gilmour showing good form, the Blues have enough options to cover for the Frenchman until his return.
Apart from the three, Lampard has a full-strength squad to choose from. Timo Werner and Kai Havertz were on the scoresheet against Morecambe. Hopefully, the German duo will now use it as a stepping board to scale greater heights.
