According to The Sun, Ligue 1 side Nice are keen on taking Chelsea defender Fikayo Tomori on loan in the January transfer window.
The youngster has fallen down the pecking order following the arrival of Thiago Silva and the resurgence of Kurt Zouma. With Andreas Christensen also ahead of him, Tomori is arguably the fourth-choice centre-back at best.

The Blues are however unable to give him regular game time, necessitating the need to send him out on loan. In fact, Frank Lamaprd is willing to listen to loan offers for the youngster.
A move to France is unlikely to be affected by Brexit. British players now have to qualify for work permits before European sides can sign them up. With Premier League experience and a senior England cap under his belt, Tomori should have no problems in making the switch to France.
According to the report, several Premier League clubs are also keen on taking the youngster on loan. The Blues however are not keen to see him feature for a domestic rival.
Nice are currently 12th in Ligue 1. The prospect of garnering regular game time is not something Tomori should pass on.
Despite his impact Silva is 36 and is in the final years of his career. The Blues will neded to bring in a replacement for the imperious defender when the time comes.
Going away and impressing on loan will help Tomori show his skills and lay a claim to be the Brazilian’s replacement at the Bridge.
