Fans react as N’Golo Kante shines in the win against Newcastle United

Chelsea moved to the top of the Premier League table after beating Newcastle United 2-0, with N’Golo Kante impressing on the night.

An own goal from Federico Fernandez in the first half, coupled with a second half strike from Tammy Abraham were enough to seal the victory for us.

N’Golo Kante was the star of the show for Chelsea against Newcastle United

While there were a number of good performances from the likes of Abraham, Timo Werner and Mason Mount, Kante, who was donning the captain’s armband for the day, stood out.

The diminutive midfielder, starting in his preferred defensive midfield role, shone brightly in the way he swept things up and kept a lid on the hosts, ensuring that the attackers had the freedom to go about their jobs.

Naturally, the fans were left impressed with the way the France international performed. And praises poured in from all quarters for Kante. Here we look at some of the reactions from the Blues’ supporters on the Frenchman’s display.
