PSG are interested in Chelsea trio Antonio Rudiger and Tiemoue Bakayoko

According to Sky Sports, French football expert Jonathan Johnson has confirmed that PSG are interested in Chelsea trio Antonio Rudiger, Jorginho, and Tiemoue Bakayoko.

The French champions will however have to raise funds before they can make a move for the Chelsea stars.

This financial crunch has forced them to operate solely in the loan market.

Antonio Rudiger is on PSG’s radar

While Thomas Tuchel is keen on Rudiger, convincing the Blues to send him on loan could prove to be a problem. A major reason is the uncertainty surrounding the player’s decision to sign a new contract.

With his contract running out in 2022, the Blues are keen to see him pen an extension before being allowed to go on loan. Tottenham Hotspur are the latest team to enter the race for Rudiger. They see him as an alternative for Milan Skriniar. (h/t The Telegraph)

Bakayoko joined Chelsea in the summer of 2017 from AS Monaco. However, he failed to make the desired impact at the Bridge and has spent the last two years out on loan.

AC Milan were keen on the Frenchman. However, they have failed to make an offer that was to Chelsea’s satisfaction. This has given PSG the opportunity to make their move. (h/t The Sun)

The Blues value the midfielder at £32m. They are seeking a £4.6m loan fee with the remaining £27.4m to be paid as the full transfer fee.

Jorginho, meanwhile, is a player who has split fan base since joining the club. Chelsea could be open to selling him this summer to generate funds and free up space on the wage bill to go for Declan Rice. (h/t Express)

The report goes on to add that Chelsea would prefer to sell the players permanently rather than loan them out. This could prove to be a problem for PSG, who are only keen on loan deals.
