Timo Werner has been promising for Chelsea
German ace Timo Werner is one of the biggest signings made by Chelsea this summer.
The 24-year-old comes on the back of a prolific season for RB Leipzig. He plundered in 34 goals and assisted 13 more goals in just 45 appearances for the Bundesliga side last season. (h/t Transfermarkt)
His addition will be a massive boost for a Blues attack that has at times lacked killer instinct.

Werner looked to be in top form as he continued to find the back of the net with minimal fuss. This augurs well for the future as anticipation regarding the player’s debut grows.
Chelsea open their 2020/21 campaign away to Brighton on 14 September. It remains to be seen if Werner will make his Blues bow at The Amex.
