Turkish source Haber365 tweeted earlier today that Chelsea have agreed on a deal for Trabzonspor goalkeeper Ugurcan Cakir.
The 24-year-old has played a key role in Trabzonspor’s title challenge this season and has missed just one match in the Turkish top-flight. Trabzonspor are currently four points off the table behind Istanbul Basaksehir.
He was earlier touted as a target for Chelsea who could be in the market for a new keeper.
Kepa Arrizabalaga has endured a difficult time and his run as Chelsea number one could be coming to an end.
Although we cannot vouch for the reliability of the source, it was enough to set a number of fans to take to social media to comment on the matter.
We take a look at a few of them below. It is fair to say that opinion so far seems to be divided.
