With the futures of both Willian and Pedro up in the air, the Blues are looking to bolster their options in attack, with a wide player being the priority.

Chelsea see Lemar as a viable alternative to Zaha as Chelsea considers the Crystal Palace winger to be overpriced at £80million. (h/t Evening Standard)

Lemar has had a torrid time at the Spanish capital since his move to Atletico Madrid in 2018.

The 24-year-old has scored just 1 goal in 23 appearances this season, with 11 of them coming from the substitutes bench. (h/t Whoscored)

Simeone is looking to move on the winger in the January transfer window in order to free up funds for other signings.

Chelsea are reportedly interested in a loan deal with an option to buy. A deal similar to the one agreed for Alvaro Morata a year ago.
