Former Chelsea defender William Gallas believes Antoine Griezmann would be a perfect signing for the Blues. Maurizio Sarri’s men have struggled to score goals this season and even signed Gonzalo Higuain on loan to solve this problem.
Things didn’t look great for Sarri’s men with Bournemouth hammering us 4-0, however, Gallas claimed Griezmann would fit well in the Premier League (h/t Express):
“With his quality, I’m sure he can damage a lot of defenders. I would love to see him in the Premier League.
“He’s a very patient, diligent player who scores goals consistently. He would be perfect for Chelsea.”
The French defender also claimed that Griezmann is one of the top five strikers in the world. The French attacker has done extremely well at Atletico Madrid over the years, and he would cost a bomb if we are to bring him to London.
The 27-year-old lifted the World Cup in the summer and was possibly their best player in the attack. The Atletico striker has scored 16 goals in all competitions for the side and even bagged four goals in Russia during the summer.
Chelsea spent big to sign Christian Pulisic, with the American set to join us in the summer. Hopefully, we can land another top player or two under Sarri, and continue our development under the Italian.

The loss against the Cherries has put us in danger of missing out on the top-four. However, there are a lot of games left in the season for us to claw back into it.
