Willian and Pedro to start? – Predicted 4-3-3 Chelsea line-up to face Burnley

Chelsea travel to Burnley after their 3-1 triumph over Bate Borisov in the Europa League. Maurizio Sarri fielded a changed line-up in midweek but should look to play his strongest side against the Clarets.

The only injury concern we might have is Eden Hazard. The Belgian picked up a slight injury in our 2-2 draw with Manchester United and could miss out on this clash.

Chelsea would want to put the pressure on Manchester City and Liverpool, who lead the Blues by two points at the top of the Premier League table.

The Chelsea team picks itself for Premier League games under Sarri, and here is our predicted line-up against the Clarets.

Predicted Chelsea XI

Formation: 4-3-3

Manager: Maurizio Sarri

Kepa Arrizabalaga (GK)

The Spaniard will continue as the goalkeeper and is slowly improving with each game under his belt.

Cesar Azpilicueta (RB)

Davide Zappacosta had a decent game in midweek but we should see Azpilicueta start as the right-back on Sunday.

David Luiz (CB)

The Brazilian didn’t play in the 3-1 win over Bate but should face Burnley at Turf Moor.

Antonio Rudiger

Antonio Rudiger (CB)

Rudiger has been the preferred partner for Luiz this season, and the German should start alongside the Brazilian.

Marcos Alonso (LB)

Alonso recently signed a new deal to extend his stay at Stamford Bridge and should start on Sunday.

Mateo Kovacic (CM)

The Croatian played 77 minutes against Bate and should be in the line-up at Turf Moor.

Jorginho (CM)

The man who keeps the midfield ticking, Jorginho didn’t play in the Europa League but should be starting against Burnley.

N’Golo Kante (CM)

The French midfielder got a few minutes in midweek against Bate. Kante is important to the team and will start against Burnley.

Willian

Willian (RW)

It would be a surprise seeing Hazard being named for this game. Sarri should only play the Belgian if he is 100% and that could mean another start for the Brazilian.

Alvaro Morata (ST)

The Spaniard should start against Burnley since Olivier Giroud played the entire 90 against Bate in the Europa League.

Pedro (LW)

Hazard should be rested for this game and that should give Pedro another start after playing an hour in midweek.
