Chelsea left-back Marcos Alonso has claimed that a new deal with the Blues could be on the way. The player was speaking to AS (h/t Calciomercato) and was quoted as saying:
“I am in talks to sign a new contract with Chelsea.
“I hope to finalize the deal by the end of the month.”

The 27-year-old was linked with a move to Barcelona in the summer (h/t Calciomercato) but decided to stay put at Stamford Bridge.
Alonso is one of the key players at Chelsea under Maurizio Sarri and a number of fans were pleased about the possible contract extension for the left-back.
