Chelsea have made a brilliant start to the season winning all six games in Europe and the Premier League. However, the 0-0 draw to West Ham United has come as a bit of a dampener.
Regardless, the Blues have played a different brand of football under Maurizio Sarri and one player who has been at the centre of it all is Mateo Kovacic.
The Croatian joined the Blues from Real Madrid on a loan and has played four games for us this season. The midfielder hasn’t been at his best in England but we must give him time to adjust to the country and the league in general.
Sarri seems to prefer playing the midfielder alongside N’Golo Kante and Jorginho, and it will be interesting to see how well he does for the rest of the campaign.
The 24-year-old recently spoke about Eden Hazard and how he is one of the best players in the world but some of our fans wanted Kovacic to stay at Stamford Bridge beyond this season.
