Eden Hazard was exceptional in our win over Cardiff City. The Belgian scored a hat-trick and pushed the Blues to the top of the Premier League.
He already has five goals and two assists in five league appearances so far. Former England player Stuart Pearce, however, believes that Hazard can score 40 goals a season – only if he joins a rival!
Pearce was speaking to talkSPORT (h/t Metro) and said:
“I’m not sure Chelsea will dominate the league enough to create enough chances for Hazard to get 40 goals, because of Liverpool and Manchester City.”
“Put him in the Liverpool and Manchester City team at this moment in time and I think he might be able to.”
The Englishman expressed surprise at the fact that no club have tried to woo Hazard away from Chelsea.
