Chelsea have entered the race to sign German defender Shkodran Mustafi and are set to give competition to Arsenal who are already pursuing the player.
Arsenal has been heavily linked with the player this summer and Valencia are reportedly finding it tough to hold on to their key player.
Mustafi has remarkably progressed in the last few years, which saw him being called on national duty for Germany during 2014 World Cup as well as European Championship 2016. The player is regarded as one of the most dominant defender in La Liga having turned into a revelation since joining Valencia from Italian side Sampdoria.
Reports suggesting that Arsenal are closing in on a deal to sign the player, are already circulating however in the midst of all this Chelsea too have started pursuing the player, as Conte looks to add a new central defender in the squad.
