Chelsea are reportedly looking to sign Antonio Candreva from Lazio this summer and reports from the Goal state that the player is open to the move to the Premier League this summer.
The player has formerly played twice under current Chelsea boss Antonio Conte and is keen on a reunion with his former manager.
The player already has Inter Milan looking to sign him and thus Chelsea will be facing competition from Inter for the player’s signature. Reports suggest that Inter are offering a deal worth €18m for the player’s move out of Lazio, but Chelsea remain confident of signing the player into the Blues.
His agent Federico Pastorello spoke to Tele Radio Stereo, saying:
“If he leaves, he’ll leave with a smile.
As for where, I don’t like to speak outside of the official venues, but Antonio will obviously consider offers from abroad, for his life experience as well as his professional one.“All the champions want to go to England.”
The player has 10 goals to his credit for Lazio during the last season in 30 appearances and this was the third successive year that the player has netted 10 or more goals for the club.
The Italy international was an unused substitute when Italy lost to Germany on penalties during the Euro 2016.
