The Premier League season is fast approaching and while most of the club’s transfer is nearly over Chelsea has only just gotten started regarding the same. The Blues have brought in Michy Bashuayi and N’Golo Kante into the squad this summer and the Blues’ boss Antonio Conte is not done yet as there are more to follow.
Chelsea made an improved offer of £45m for Napoli player Kalidou Koulibaly, which has resulted in Napoli offering a new contract to the player as Napoli and the player’s agent are set to have a meeting so as to wade off interest from the Blues.
Further, according to the West London Sport, Chelsea youngster Bertrand Traore is a target for Ajax, as the latter considers the 20 year old to be a potential replacement for Arek Milik, who is linked with a move to Napoli. Traore enjoyed his first-team breakthrough at the back-end of last term, scoring two goals in the Premier League.
The Blues are reportedly looking to sign Torino centre-back Nikola Maksimovic. The 24-year-old has been followed by several Premier League sides, notably West Ham earlier in the season. He can play at centre-back or in defensive midfield.
The 6ft 4ins Serbia international was flagged up by Chelsea scouts earlier in the year, however, he is now valued at £18.5m and is the subject of keen interest from Napoli. Napoli, in turn, see Maksimovic as a possible replacement for Kalidou Koulibaly who has offers on the table from Chelsea and Everton with the former’s latest bid standing at £38m.
