Alvaro Morata’s summer has been filled with transfer speculation, while Real Madrid activated their buy-back clause and brought him to the Bernabeu with many expecting the Spanish club to sell him off again.
However so far nothing of the sort has happened and Chelsea along with Arsenal are just hanging around with the hopes of signing the player this summer.
As such if reports are to be believed then Real Madrid still intend to sell the player on a higher rate than the amount they paid as a buy back and make a neat profit. And now, Real Madrid have told Chelsea and Arsenal they will have to pay £50million to land Spain international striker Alvaro Morata.
Morata is one of the most coveted players this summer and has many clubs looking to bring him into their squad most notable ones being Chelsea and Arsenal. The Spanish player won back-to back Serie A titles and the Coppa Italia suring his two seasons at the Turin club. The 23 year old has scored 11 goals in 52 appearances during his first spell at the Bernabeu.
