Reports from Mirror has information that Chelsea has began their chase for Michy Batshuayi.
Earlier this month the player was linked with a move to West Ham United and the talks between the Hammers and Marseille was underway. However the player has rejected a move to West Ham and now Chelsea are all ready to swoop in. The reason cited by Batshuayi for rejecting West Ham is that he prefers a move to a club bigger than Marseille. The desire of the player is understood and Chelsea are prepared to leap into the action and offer the player a deal.
The 22 year old also has the attention of Tottenham and considering that he has scored 21 goals in 45 matches it is only natural that there will clubs after his signature. Chelsea has been linked with Edison Cavani and Alvaro Morata but those deals may be tricky so Conte is also considering a £31 million deal for Batshuayi.
