Chelsea have long been linked with Roma midfielder Radja Nianggolan for a potential move in the summer, however, the Blues are so far unsuccessful to sign the Belgian midfielder and according to recent reports the player will not be moving from Roma this summer.

According to Italian newspaper Corriere Dello Sport, Nainggolan is set to sign a new improved deal with AS Roma, putting whatever little hopes Chelsea had of bringing the player into the squad to an end.

Further reports from the Daily Express suggests that the player has earlier rejected Conte’s offer during the latter’s time in Juventus and this time around too the player has rejected the Italian manager’s advances, thus declining a move to England this summer.

Reports from CDS claim that the player’s contract at Roma will still run till 2020, however this will include better terms which will round up his yearly earnings to £3.1m.
