Chelsea has been handed a boost in the pursuit of Hatem Ben Arfa from Nice after Barcelona has pulled out of the race as per Balague. Earlier L’Equipe had claimed that the player is nearing a deal with Barcelona and Nice’s president apparently confirmed the news about a talk between the club.
Now report from Balague is saying otherwise and if it is a new development then the Blues has one less competition to worry about as they look to bring Ben Arfa to Stamford Bridge. Chelsea may still have to battle it out with Liverpool as reports emerged earlier that Jurgen Klopp is looking to add more attacking angles to his team.
Antonio Conte is also said to have put the player on his shortlist as the future of Diego Costa is not yet clear and Ben Arfa has recently developed as a fine center forward. Liverpool or Chelsea, Ben Arfa seems to be set to return to Premier League.
