Chelsea were linked with a move for Aymen Abdennour in the January transfer window but now as per TMW, the Blues have another chance to sign the defender in the summer.
Currently at Valencia, the player is said to be ready to be sold given the lack of Champions League and reduction of revenue for the club. The club, therefore, wants to reduce their payroll expense next year. The player arrived at Valencia for €21.8m and the club is looking to sell him for a similar amount.
The Tunisian international has not really lived up to the expectation and as per Plaza Deportiva, a Valencia-based media, has made several errors but their report says that Premier League clubs may want to sign the player. It is a little strange given that the local media is trying to sell him to Chelsea when the Premier League clubs could be looking at strengthening rather than buying unwanted players from Spanish League.
