According to Marca, Diego Costa has been spotted at Vicente Calderon on Monday and has caused the Spanish media to report a half-page article about the visit. The newspaper tried to be as transparent as possible but could not help but speculate the reason behind Costa’s close connection with Ateltico Madrid.
In all fairness the report did mention that the player visited the bank inside the stadium and did not visit the director’s office. In spite of that the surprise is that the player still maintains an account in Madrid and he apparently cannot spend a day without visiting Spain.
The 27 year old player is seeking a move to Atletico but Antonio Conte, the incoming manager has quashed all possibility of an outward move. The Italian has stated that Costa is a major part of his plan next season and will not be allowed to leave under any circumstance.
