AS, a Spanish publication has claimed that Real Madrid has agreed personal terms with Eden Hazard for a summer transfer. The report says that the clubs has not agreed upon a deal but Los Blancos have met with Hazard’s representatives and a deal in principle is in place.

Eden Hazard

The Belgian was the PFA player of the year last season when Chelsea won the Premier League but has not scored a goal this year. For such a form Blues’ asking price of  £78.8 million is extremely high and could be a roadblock for any potential move. Also, Eden Hazard has a contract with Chelsea till 2020 and there is no easy way for Real to get the player other than through Chelsea.

Chelsea are unlikely to qualify for Champions League next season and considering that many of their stars want to play in the European competition, there may be a number of players leaving this summer.
