Gianluca Di Marzio, the Italian journalist has confirmed last week that Chelsea have contacted representatives of Antonio Conte. The Blues are interested in having Conte as the next manager at Stamford Bridge once Guss Hiddink’s tenure ends. The report went on to say that a deal is likely given that both the parties have met several times.

Now with any new manager coming in it is only natural to speculate that the manager will want to bring in players he is familiar with. Radja Nainggolan has worked with Conte in Juventus and is believed to be one of those players. As per the Di Marzio, Conte wants to take him to England if and when he takes charge of Chelsea.

Chelsea scouts have been spotted several times in Roma games and is suspected to be watching Nainggolan. The club is said to be preparing to step up their interest in the Belgian in the coming days. Though Conte’s arrival in London is the key to the Belgian’s transfer, the journalists seem to be very confident that Conte is the next Chelsea boss.
